In the dataset window, all registered data entries are shown (given you have permission to view the entries).

If your dataset contains many entries, you can choose to display more entries by clicking on the "Show" box in the upper left corner. Also, filtering will dictate how many entries you see.

The variables (column headers) are displayed in the order they are placed on the project design page. Variable groups and Series are marked with an orange and green line on top of the variable columns, respectively. If your project contains many variables, scroll to the right to see more variables. (If the project has >300 variables, pagination is activated, and you can shift to the next page or the end of the dataset by clicking the arrows in the left or right corners of the dataset.) You can search for variables or choose only to display a selection of variables from the settings wheel in the upper right corner.

Series in dataset window

In the dataset window, series are only displayed if one or more aggregation variables are defined for the series.

  • Series are shown with a green line above the header column in the dataset view. The column heading is the name of the series. The sub-headings are the defined aggregation variables and functions.

  • Variables within the series that have no defined aggregation function are not shown.

Series in an entry

  • To view all data within a series of entries,

    1. you can click on the entry, thereby opening the entry, and then click on the series card. The entries within the series will be automatically shown in a table. To view all variables, scroll to the right.

    2. To open the series, click on the grid-view icon next to the "+" icon or click on the series entry you would like to open.

    3. To view the series data in full screen, click on the full-screen icon next to the grid-view icon.

Or

  • If you have an aggregation rule set,

    1. click on "View" next to the series value in the dataset window.

    2. Open the series level entry of interest

Missing entries?

If you miss entries, check for unintended filtering. Remember, you also need to be assigned permission to view entries. You can see your permissions in the "Collaborators" window. Contact the project owner if you need to alter your permissions.
