Frequencies calculate the frequencies of categorical variables.
Click "+ New analysis" and choose "Frequencies" from the drop-down menu.
Select the data model in the "Parameters" card on the right side. Select the series of interest from the dropdown menu if you choose to analyse series data.
Select the variable of interest.
The results can be displayed as a table showing the number of entries of each categorical value (n) and the percentage of this number of the total number of entries (%).
If you want to display the result as a bar chart, click on "Columns" in the "Chart type" card to the right.
If you want to display the result as a pie chart, click on "Pie" in the "Chart type" card to the right.
Open the "Formatting" card on the right side to choose whether to use category values or labels, or whether to display chart legends on your figure.
You can apply filters to the dataset to analyse subgroups (optional).
Export your results(optional)
The different category values/labels will be displayed in the same order as they are listed in the entry form. If you want to rearrange the category values, you need to do so in the variable settings (see “Edit existing variables” and "Manage fixed values").
