To edit the variable name and appearance in a form

  1. Go to “Project Design” and select “Forms” from the dropdown menu

  2. Open the form of interest by clicking on the form card.

  3. Click the Edit icon inside the variable frame

Under “Form variable label”, you can change the variable label. This only affects how the variable label is shown in the specific form. The original variable name in the variable list is not altered (see “Variable name” above the “Form variable label” box). By default, the Variable name and Form variable label are the same.

For categorical variables, you can choose how the values are presented (vertical/horizontal buttons or a dropdown menu) and whether values or labels should be shown.
