1. Open the project you want to create a template from

  2. Go to "Project design" and select "Templates"

  3. The next steps will depend on whether you want to make a template that includes all the variables in the project or if you want to make a template with a selection of the variables

Make a template from all variables

  1. Click on the three dots next to the "Variables and groups" heading and select "Make a template from all"

  2. The template is shown under the "Templates" heading

  3. Give your template a name by entering it into the template’s card

  4. Click on the arrow left of the template’s name to see the content of the template

  5. You can add a description of your template under the tab "Description"

  6. The variables and variable groups can be reordered by dragging and dropping

  7. By clicking on the variable card, you can see the variable details and make certain changes.

  8. IMPORTANT: Before you leave the project, you must save your template. Click on the three dots in the template’s card upper right corner and select "Save" 

Make a template of selected variables

  1. Click "+ New template" ("Create your first template" if this is the first template in your account)

  2. Give your template a name by entering it into the template’s card

  3. Click on the arrow to the left of the template name to open the dropzone

  4. Drag and drop the variables or variable groups you want to include in your template from the variable list into the dropzone

  5. You can reorder the variables and groups within the template’s card

  6. By clicking on the variable card, you can see the variable details and make certain changes.

  7. You can add a description of your template under the "Description" tab

  8. IMPORTANT: Before you leave the project, you must save your template. Click on the three dots in the template’s card upper right corner and select "Save"
